Ports

The STICK interfaces have 8 ports at the rear. You can access ports 1-4 on the STICK from the rear connection socket and ports 5-8 from the Ethernet add-on (available as part of the com+ option).

You can use an 8 button touch pad to trigger the ports, or you can use a touch pad with up to 255 buttons by combining the 8 trigger contacts in binary.

Example:
 Ports 1,2 & 3 will send the value 7
 Ports 1 & 4 will send the value 9

Each port will need to be mapped to a scene. This is done within the software package you are using with the STICK.

Once your touchpad is set up, you can test the pins with the Hardware Tools. See the Hardware Tools tutorial for more information. If you are combining the ports to use up to 255 buttons, you will need to make sure that the addressing option is enabled under the parameters tab.
