Midi Sequence Control?

I was wondering if it is possible to control a light show from a sequencer such as a yamaha keyboard. I want to sequence (play midi files) with piano, guitar, etc. parts and have my moving head lights programed to move according to programs I've made and stored so everything is in sync. I just don't know how to get started? Can I embed the light changes into the midi file? Please be gentle I am a newbie! Thanks

You can synchronize your lights with MIDI notes coming from the keyboard.

Everything is written in the manual ! Every button in the software can be synchronized with a MIDI note. This option is located in the Button settings window. Then, you must connect your MIDI device to the computer and activate the MIDI IN option from the starting parameters window of the software.
