Loading AVI Files into ESA2 Beta

Hello,
I would like to load an AVI file as ColorEffect. I press the movie button, but the File Dialog filters to Still-Grafic-File Formats: *.gif *.bmp *.gif *.ico usw.
I could not find a functionality for file sequences either. Is it possible to load an avi File?

The backround is: in EasyStandAlone (not beta) I tried to load an avi as effect for a generic single channel fixture, but the matrix effect only works for rbg fixtures. I seems to be restricted to color movies. So I thought I could do it in ESA2

I have tested this and I have an 'Unsupported file format' error when I try to load any AVI file. I'm just waiting to hear back from the developer and I will mail you back.
